Benefit Night
We co-host Benefit Nights in our store with local nonprofits and a percentage of that evening’s proceeds goes back to the particular nonprofit’s cause. The “catch” is that the more foot traffic the partner nonprofit brings in (which in turn translates into greater sales), the greater their share of the proceeds. Past partners include Tree Folks, Meals on Wheels, Austin Girls’ Choir, Grazia Forte, and more.
Offsite Sales Events
We participate in offsite sales to make available and make known our products beyond our retailer store. Locations include The Sustainable Shopper’s Ball, Women and Fair Trade by AFSC, and more.
Education & Speaker's Bureau
The Austin store's nonprofit mission includes fair trade education. We are available for outreach and speaking opportunities in schools, businesses, churches, community groups and in-store events.
Topics of interest include the role and significance of fair trade for artisans worldwide, the fair trade business model, and the effectiveness of fair trade. Contact us at 512-440-0440 or e-mail.
